The British Drum Co are delighted to announce our first Australian artist, Ryan O’Keeffe from hard rock Aussie band Airbourne. Ryan called by the factory to collect his kit prior to a run of European shows supporting Iron Maiden’s The Legacy of the Beast Tour 2022 and festivals including Download (UK), Hellfest (France) and Rock am Ring tonight in Germany. Airbourne’s World Tour 2022 tour started this month and takes in Latin America, Canada and USA.
Ryan says: “Joining the BDC family was a no-brainer for me. I first heard about them doing great things back in 2019 and when they invited me down to the factory during a day off in Manchester I had to see what all the fuss was about. From the minute I walked in the door I was struck by how passionate this company was. Every person in that building cares so much about what they do. They are a real family and for a touring musician like me and our Airbourne family, that’s everything!”
“My new Legend Series Founder’s Reserve is a completely bespoke design that the team at BDC crafted for me from the ground up to mimic a Gibson SG – and it does just that; right down to the cherry red mahogany finish, rosewood kick drum hoops and mixed chrome/gold hardware! Did I mention that this thing sounds INCREDIBLE too?? I can’t wait to get it out on the road this summer and let the world know that I am BDC!”
