Jesse has been playing drums in legendary Moncton, NB bands such as Bong Jovi, The Human Comedy, and Savage Young for the past 10 years. Since 2017 Briggs has brought his electric mix of punk rock and stoner rock behind the kit with NB’s premiere award winning loud four-piece Diner Drugs. Diner Drugs have developed a reputation for their live performances, keeping themselves steadily on the road and have lent tour support for Botfly, Cancer Bats, and Dead Quiet along with Maritime, Ontario and Quebec support several times over for Heart Attack Kids and local support for heavy hitters Mokomaki and Red Fang. Briggs finds his biggest inspiration from his buds behind the kit Jonny Flanagan of Iron Giant, T-Bone of Hope/The Motorleague, Mike Nitro of Trigger Effect, Taylor Freund of Barnburner and Mike Peters from The Cancer Bats. When he’s not on the road he spends his time blowing glass for his company Maritimer Glass Works and hanging with his best gal and fuzzy friend and is looking forward to working on the new Diner Drugs EP due out in Spring of 2023.
