Biography:
Even before picking up sticks at the age of 12, I have always had, and continue to have a complete and all-consuming passion for music, playing and listening to music whenever and wherever I can on the drums and guitar.
I was initially inspired by the likes of Chad Smith and Dave Grohl (with nothing but a pillow to practice on). A heavy hitting and powerful dynamic ensued, which I still carry forward to this day, with a high-energy and hard-hitting focus, and always a longing to just… groove!
As a lot of drummers do, I began my career through hard study and local gigs, gradually making my way to proudly playing with bands such as The Ramonas, (which has almost certainly honed my skills and appreciation for speed and endurance as well!), and most recently joining The Subways! I am also a dedicated freelance touring drummer and a hugely passionate drum teacher.
