Please Morgan Zwicker welcome to the Los Cabos Family.
Morgan Zwicker completed a jazz studies program at Humber College in Toronto and returned to his roots in Nova Scotia. 26 years old, Morgan has a number of accomplishments already under his belt as an emerging artist including second place in the Drumeo National Drum Solo Contest (2018), first place in the Maritimes Drumoff (2019), various awards fromDactor Canada, Music Novascotia, and Arts Novascotia, the TD Music in Fellowship in Jazz for his residency Banff Centre (2021), bronze designation in the Coast’s “Best Of” Halifax – Jazz Musician of the Year (2021), nominated for Nova Scotia’s Jazz Recording of the Year (2021), and more.
Morgan leads his jazz quartet “Morgan Zwicker Jazz Project” in addition to drumming for rock bands Skeleton Club, Juice Boxishere, and guitarist Roland Grant. Morgan regularly performs in Halifax and elsewhere in Nova Scotia and is available for session work and teaching opportunities locally or abroad.
