Jim Mola
Jim Mola has performed and/or recorded with jazz artists Phil Woods, Hank Jones, Dr. Billy Taylor, Bill Watrous, Mel Martin, Pepper Adams and Stanley Turrentine, as well as a diverse group of pop icons, Broadway and show business personalities including Tony Bennett, Weird Al Yankovic, Angelique Kidjo, Jane Olivor, Henny Youngman, Al Hirt, Pat Cooper, Mario Cantone and many others. He was featured in Modern Drummer and 21st Century Drummer magazines.
He has worked extensively in New York City’s recording studios, doing television, film, and jingle dates including A&E’s “Rat Pack” biography, Turner Classic Movie’s Lana Turner biography, Burger King, Nikon, Band-Aid, and more.
He is on the faculty at the Collective School of Music in New York City and a member of the Percussive Arts Society’s Drum Set Committee.

Kelli Rae Tubbs
A working drummer and percussionist for more than three decades, Kelli’s resume spans the musical spectrum, covering jazz, pop, country, bluegrass, drum corps, brass band, and children’s music. From 2017 to 2020, she served as the house percussionist at the Smoky Mountain Opry in Pigeon Forge, TN. She was featured in DRUM! magazine.
Over the last decade, Kelli has established a formidable “second” career as a collector, researcher, and clinician. She has presented on the preservation and restoration of antique drums as well as historical drumming methods at the Chicago Drum Show and the Percussive Arts Society International Convention. Currently, she is writing a book with the noted drummer, author, and educator Daniel Glass, entitled “The Postcard Project: A Snapshot of Drumming Life, 1900-1930” (due in 2021).
She is the 2020 recipient of the Paul Charosh Independent Scholar Fellowship and has been awarded 7 grants and is the creator/producer of the popular “Back in Time” video series. Her original compositions with co-writer Andy LaCasse appear in a 2011 Regional Emmy winning film and he makes a brief appearance in the documentary “Beat Keepers: Women with Rhythm”.
Kelli is a member of the Sabian Education Network and the D’Addario Education Collective. She has been a regular contributor to Tom Tom Magazine and has served on the Scholarly Research Committee of the Percussive Arts Society.
Her recording and performance credits include: Waltzing on Waves, international blues artist Annie Mack, Christmas at the Smoky Mountain Opry featuring Chris Blue, T. C. Higgins, the Sheldon Theatre Brass Band, and Colt .45.
