Dan Pawlovich (Panic At The Disco) approached Stratasys to 3D print a snare drum idea. Whether you have seen this video before or not it’s fascinating to see how people are using technology to develop new ideas. This is not a cost-effective way of production but think about being able to print a drum complete, holes for mounting and bearing edge help within tenths of accuracy.
