Gretsch Drums is pleased to announce that Dave Anania will take over as Director of Artist Relations – USA/International, succeeding Andrew Shreve, who will assume overall responsibility for the brand, product portfolio, and production of GRETSCH Drums USA. Andrew will continue to support Dave with his expertise and experience. Dave has been a dedicated supporter of the Gretsch Drums brand for many years. As the former Drum Captain of Blue Man Group, Dave first became a Gretsch Drums endorser through Nico Nevermann when GEWA Music was solely responsible for European distribution. In recent years, Dave has served as a Sales & Marketing Representative for Gretsch Drums in the USA, building strong relationships with both national and international Gretsch Artists.

Andrew Shreve will coordinate the direction of the Gretsch Drums USA brand with his outstanding and in-depth knowledge, working closely with the production team. He will work directly with GEWA Music USA VP – Sales & Marketing Terry Bissette and GRETSCH Digital Marketing & Content Manager Nick D’Virgilio.

Nico Nevermann will remain responsible for Artist Relations in Europe, ensuring continued engagement with European artists. Additionally, the product management for Gretsch Drums – Full Range will continue under Stefan Weiler’s leadership.

Joshua Safer will step into the role of Director of Operations, bringing years of experience from supporting and complementing Paul Cooper. Paul will transition into his new role as Director of Special Projects, where he will focus on the expansion and development of the Ridgeland, SC, USA facility.

The European and American Gretsch Drums teams will work closely together to establish a unified and consistent global brand identity. Product definitions and development will also be collaboratively defined between the USA and Europe. Numerous exciting and challenging projects lie ahead, and we will gradually inform our distribution and retail partners about upcoming developments.

Statement from Marcel Messner, CEO GEWA music:

Knowing that Paul will continue to be involved in all key decisions ensures the ongoing development of Gretsch Drums.”

Statement from Rick Hall, CEO GEWA music USA:
