After nearly two decades, Frank Ferrer has parted ways with Guns N’ Roses, marking the end of an era for the iconic rock band. Ferrer, who joined in 2006, was the longest-serving drummer in the band’s history, contributing to major albums like Chinese Democracy and tours like the “Not in This Lifetime” reunion tour. His steady drumming and creative input made him a key part of the band’s revival.
Ferrer’s departure was announced on March 19, 2025, with a heartfelt statement from the band expressing gratitude for his “friendship, creativity, and sturdy presence.” His final performance with the band took place in November 2023 at the Hell & Heaven Metal Fest in Mexico.
