  • Students: Students should have their student badge ready for access at the McCadden entrance.
  • Alumni: Alumni must present their alumni badge or check in at the registration table.
  • Non-MI Attendees: Non-MI attendees are required to show their ID and check in at the registration table.

About Nate Morton:

Nate, a self-taught drummer from age 5, began formal training in high school with Grant Menefee in Baltimore. He then honed his craft at Berklee College of Music in Boston, studying with notable drummers like Ed Uribe, Ian Froman, and Ron Savage. After graduating in 1994, he taught and performed in Boston before moving to Los Angeles in 1999, where he earned credits with artists like Natalie Cole, Madonna, Miley Cyrus, Pink, and many more. Nate was also the powerhouse drummer for ROCKSTAR: INXS and ROCKSTAR: Supernova.

In 2010, he played for Bonnie Hunt’s talk show and joined Cher for her performances at Caesars Palace. Today, you can see him on NBC’s The Voice. Nate is proudly endorsed by Pearl, Zildjian, Remo, Roland, Sennheiser, E-PAD!, Cympad, KellySHU, and BFSD.
