He founded digitalDrummer after struggling to find reliable and authoritative advice on electronic drums when he returned to drumming later in life. His mission was to create a publication dedicated to exploring the world of electronic percussion—something that was missing from mainstream drum and music media at the time.
As an experienced gear reviewer and advisor to e-drum companies, Allan has tested and reviewed a wide range of e-drum products.
