Gretsch Drums is excited to announce the launch of three new FULL RANGE snare series in 2025, including this new range of birch snares. These exciting new additions not only promise an exceptional sound and playing experience, but we are also proud to deliver a level of value and performance that is unparalleled.
Gretsch Birch Snare Drums meet all the characteristics drummers want from a birch shell: a dry, short, and mic-friendly character that can be used live or in the studio. They feature our 8-ply Birch Shell, 30° Bearing Edges, Tilco Snare Wires, and 2.5mm triple flanged hoops. Finished in satin classic, the Full Range Birch Snare will compliment every drum kit color you use it with.
This series includes five models in different sizes:
5×10” & 5.5×10”:
The ideal snare drum for any drummer who needs a loud, snappy, and cutting attack, whether used in hybrid or auxiliary musical situations. Its direct-to-shell mount allows easy placement throughout your set up.
6×13”:
Offers a great balance between a sharp and cutting attack or a darker looser note, depending on your tuning preference.
5×14”:
A great choice for any style of music that calls for a tight, sharp, and very cutting attack.
6.5×14”:
An extremely versatile snare drum that can be comfortably used in all styles of music. Its wide tuning range extends from a tight, sharp, and very cutting attack to a very muddy and loose feel…the range is most impressive.
The new FULL RANGE BIRCH snares will be available by late spring/early summer 2025 at retailers and online.
