Yamaha Corporation of America announces the latest edition to the DTX electronic drum lineup: the DTX6K5-M. Featuring the powerful DTX-PRO module and popular 2-ply mesh heads, the DTX6K5-M expands the DTX6 Series with larger mesh playing surfaces.
The DTX6K5-M includes:
- NEW XP120L-M 12” snare
- NEW XP100L-M 10” toms (x3)
- 15” ride, 13” hi-hat, 13” crash (x3) and KP90 7.5” kick tower
- DMR6 (RS6 rack and DTX-PRO module)
With enhanced version 2.0 firmware, the DTX-PRO is even more impressive, featuring 30 new preset kits, including the Yamaha Recording Custom, as well as a wide assortment of new cymbal sounds and effects. With new sounds and enhanced usability, including improved bleed control settings, hi-hat pitch up, more precise velocity settings and cymbal EQ’s playing the DTX6K5-M becomes an even more immersive and expressive experience.
Plus, controlling parameters within the module has never been easier thanks to the free DTX Touch app: a new way to experiment and dial in your unique sound. Settings may be easily adjusted and saved at lightning speed using an intuitive graphical interface – making this a great kit for intermediate players and advanced players alike.
