TAMA Release New Zero Latency Mirror Rod Double Pedal Driveshaft & Pedal Bundle Packs

-Drumming News-

New for 2025, TAMA has announced their new Mirror Rod, an innovative twin pedal drive shaft designed to facilitate an extremely smooth, mirror-like action between both sides.

A common challenge for drummers using twin pedals is the noticeable difference in play between the two sides. The Mirror Rod addresses this issue by incorporating eight ball bearings strategically positioned near the axis of rotation. This innovative design minimizes latency, resulting in a faster, smoother, and more balanced playing experience.

Optimized Bearing Position

Crafted from lightweight, machined aluminum, the Mirror Rod offers a premium look and feel, while also contributing to its rapid response and improved feel. The efficient motion and precise positioning of the ball bearings ensure exceptionally quiet operation. Additionally, the memory lock feature allows drummers to save their preferred setup position.

The Mirror Rod boasts universal compatibility, making it suitable for a wide range of twin pedal brands. Additionally, TAMA is releasing three limited-edition bundle packs pairing the Mirror Rod with the Dyna-sync, Iron Cobra, and Speed Cobra pedals.

The Mirror Rod and bundle packs will be available in January 2025.
