Joey Kramer Announces the Closure of Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee

Drumming News

Joey Kramer, drummer for Aerosmith, announced the closure of his coffee company, Rockin’ & Roastin’, on Friday, November 29, 2024. In a heartfelt message on social media, Kramer shared that the decision was driven by the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, rising business costs, and the personal loss of his wife, Linda. He wrote, “It is with deep deep sadness that we have had to make the decision to close the business of Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee.”

Rockin’ & Roastin’ was founded by Kramer in 2012, inspired by his struggle to find good coffee while on the road with Aerosmith. The company focused on offering high-quality, organic, and sustainably grown coffee. Unlike mass-produced coffee, Rockin’ & Roastin’ used the “shade grown” method, supporting both the environment and a richer flavor profile.

Kramer was deeply involved in every aspect of the business, from roasting the beans to selecting the coffee blends. He wanted Rockin’ & Roastin’ to stand out by offering a strong, smooth coffee at a reasonable price. In interviews, he stressed that his passion for coffee matched his dedication to music.

Although Rockin’ & Roastin’ is closing, Kramer expressed deep gratitude to the loyal customers who supported the brand over the years, marking the end of a meaningful chapter for the musician and his coffee venture.
