About Teen Cancer Trust:
Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 are diagnosed with cancer, facing a daunting and isolating experience. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to ensuring that no young person faces this challenge alone. The organization provides specialized nursing care and support from diagnosis through treatment and for up to two years afterwards, ensuring that young individuals have dedicated professionals to guide them and help them regain their confidence and independence.
Teenage Cancer Trust funds specialized nurses, youth workers, and tailored hospital units within the NHS, specifically designed to address the unique needs of young patients. Additionally, the charity organizes events that help young people regain independence and connect with others undergoing similar experiences. They also offer clear, accessible information about all aspects of living with cancer as a young person.
