Rare Kiss Drum Kit, a Piece of Rock History, Hits the Auction Block

A one-of-a-kind drum kit, hailed as a masterpiece of Kiss-tory, is up for auction. Modern Drummer CEO David Frangioni has acquired this iconic piece directly from Eric Singer, renowned drummer of Kiss.

This custom drum kit holds a unique place in rock lore, having graced countless Kiss performances and media appearances, including the monumental 2012 Kiss/Motley Crue tour. Featuring original Kiss bass drum heads that can illuminate under controlled settings, it stands out with its hand-applied mirror ball tiles, meticulously crafted over months by Dale Flanigan.

Comprising custom Pearl drum shells, Zildjian Platinum cymbals, and unique hardware, this set includes an array of bass drums, toms, floor toms, and a signature snare drum. Its dazzling mirror ball tiles, reflecting lights like no other, earned praise from Paul Stanley himself as “the most dynamic kit on stage.”

Due to its size and weight, shipping costs are substantial, prompting the auction winner to consider pickup from corporate headquarters or arrange shipping. This auction represents a rare opportunity for collectors and Kiss enthusiasts to own a piece of rock history synonymous with innovation and stage presence.
