FX Drums
Small Drums, Big Sounds!!! The Creative Percussion FX Drums are designed to give you another dimension in sound without taking up a lot of space.
Whether you choose a Popcorn Drum, Pancake Tom, or any of our FX Snare options, you will be amazed at the sounds and versatility you’ll have at your disposal.
The Popcorn Drums are made with actual popcorn to give you a reverb-type sound without snare wires or digital effects.
The Pancake Toms have a shorter sustain and are bold with a full, round, vibrant sound. They are like the Pied Piper during trade shows. They bring in a following with their sound, literally. We have had so many people tell us they heard them on the other side of the room and had to come see where the sound was coming from.
The FX Snare Drums (Rocket Snares, Pancake Snares and Roto Snares) have fully-adjustable snare mechanisms with 12-strand snare wires. Turn the snare wires on or off with just the twist of a knob. It’s like having two drums in one!
They all sound great at all tuning intervals.
Clap Stax
The CP Clap Stax are the ideal blend of a Clap and a Stax. They are all made of steel and are hand-hammered and hand heat-treated to give them our signature look. CP Clap Stax are louder than most clap stacks. Players get that “Oh, WOW!” look on their faces when they hit them for the first time. Our design allows for space between the layers giving a louder, less dry clap sound. They are available in 4 sizes; Mini Clap (5”, 6”, 7” and 8”), Golf Clap (7”, 8”, 9” and 10”), Gig Clap (9”, 11”, 13” and 15”) and Arena Clap (15”, 17’, and 19”).
Hi-Hat Rhythm Makers
Be your own backing track with CP Hi-Hat Rhythm Makers! The Hi-Hat Rhythm Makers are available with several sound options, from jingles to shakers to wood knocks to bells and beyond. All the products in this line are designed to be used with our Rebound Clutch to give the most movement and sound possible. By adjusting the space between the springs of the Rebound Clutch, you can achieve triplets, 16th notes and even 32nd notes. They are also great educational and control building tools. They may take some practice to perfect, but they are worth the effort!
