Attendees can expect to see an impressive selection, featuring over 30 snares crafted from various materials, including wood, acrylic, brass, bronze, steel, and stainless steel. Each snare is designed to deliver unique tonal qualities, appealing to drummers of all styles.
In addition to the snares, the booth will highlight seamless acrylic octobans available in 12 vibrant colors. These octobans range in size from 6”x6” to 6”x28”, allowing musicians to customize their setups to suit their individual preferences. The combination of innovative design and high-quality materials makes this collection a must-see for drummers at the show.

Richard LeRoy: Founder of RL Drums
Born in the early ’60s in England, Richard LeRoy grew up surrounded by the music of iconic drummers like Keith Moon and John Bonham, sparking his interest in drumming. After moving to the USA at age 9, he embraced the local music scene, enjoying bands such as Rush and Led Zeppelin.
In 1976, his parents gifted him his first drum set—a red sparkle Pearl kit. He played in school bands throughout his youth, but after graduating high school in 1982, drumming took a backseat to other pursuits.
Fast forward 35 years to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite a successful career as president of a hydraulic supply company in Ohio, Richard sought a hobby and returned to drumming. He began assembling a Neil Peart-inspired kit, experimenting with various drum components. Unsatisfied with store-bought octobans, he crafted his own from acrylic tubing, eventually sourcing them in 12 colors and lengths up to 28 inches.
As demand grew, Richard expanded his offerings to include complete acrylic drum sets and wooden kits. He recognized the need for quality snare drums and now provides options in acrylic, wood, brass, bronze, stainless steel, and steel, with various sizes and depths. Additionally, RL Drums offers a range of high-quality hardware and serves as the North American dealer for Omete cymbals.
