About MIKE PORTNOY:
Mike Portnoy, a founding member of Dream Theater, has recently reunited with the band after over a decade apart. He has also led or been part of a number of other projects over the years, including Sons of Apollo, The Winery Dogs, Transatlantic, Avenged Sevenfold, and many more. Portnoy is highly decorated, with numerous awards from Modern Drummer Magazine, Rhythm, and Drum! Magazine, recognizing his many contributions to progressive rock and his vast influence in the drumming community.
