Nordic Drum Shells Heritage Series Maple/Poplar and Mahogany/Poplar shells have been enhanced from a 6ply shell to a 7ply/5.2mm thick formula. The extra ply of Poplar adds more rigidity (especially in the larger sizes) without compromising the low fundamental notes these shells offer.
Nordic writes: Paying homage to the older styles of shells, the Heritage Series is a modern 6 & 7-ply that transcends the most commonly requested classic vintage formulas. All shells come standard as un-sanded, unless sanding services are purchased. This allows for maximum flexibility for your desired finish.
