Chuck Tilley, a percussion virtuoso with roots in jazz, honed his skills at the University of Alabama under the guidance of noted jazz educators Steve Sample, Sr. and Ray Reach. His early professional endeavors led him to Birmingham, where he collaborated with Count Basie bassist Cleveland Eaton in a jazz ensemble. This foundational experience laid the groundwork for Tilley’s diverse and illustrious career.

For 32 years, Chuck D. Tilley has been a proud endorser of Pearl drums, leaving an indelible mark on the music scene. Though based in Nashville, he has seamlessly navigated through the music landscapes of Los Angeles and beyond, performing in over 40 countries and all 50 states.
