Teak offers a very dense, exotic aesthetic with great color variation. Typically brown in color often with darker streaks, this is a prized wood for its unique presentation and durability.
Mappa Burl/Maple:
Mappa burl is actually the burl wood of a European poplar. This highly decorative veneer is particularly contrasty—its light brown heartwood is peppered by an unusual darker, bark-like pattern of tight clusters. This highly decorative veneer is easy to work with and is a favorite for drum shells.
Purpleheart:
This very limited edition Purpleheart is a stunning and unique addition.
