2021 HLAG Hero Liana has been busy the past few years. The 14-year old was a finalist on The Voice Kids Germany and, more recently, has been working with sustainable European fashion designers while writing and producing her own music. Although it’s been a while since she posted a drum video, she found herself deeply moved by @maneskinofficial’s “The Loneliest”. The melody, rhythm and potent message of the song resonated with her— inspiring her to record her own interpretation.

Fourteen-year-old singer and songwriter Liana was born and raised in Switzerland. Smart, talented and fearless, she is comfortable whether she is entertaining thousands or playing a game of catch at the park with her dog, Fred. Born a performer, Liana not only writes and sings her own music, she also plays drums and guitar.
