The Hit Like A Girl international contest for female, female-identifying and non-binary drummers is proud to announce the official results of the 2023 event. Overall, HLAG 2023 saw 1,200 entries from more than 60 countries with 75 Weekly Winners, 105 Finalists, 120 Judges and 90 International, Regional, Mini-Contest and Special Award Winners. Congratulations to all of this year’s participants, including our international Champions and Winners representing Indonesia, USA, China, Thailand, Japan, Israel, Russia, South Korea, France and Italy.
The Hit Like A Girl contest has become one of the biggest, most respected and most influential drumming events in the world. Since the organization began 12 years ago, the rise of the female community has become one of the most significant drumming developments of the 21st Century and, today, what started as a contest has become a movement.
