Join PAS November 9 – 12, 2022 in Indianapolis, IN at the Indianapolis Convention Center for one of the largest drum and percussion events in the world – the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC)! Featuring concerts, clinics, panels and presentations given by the finest artists from all over the world, PASIC 2022 will showcase all areas of percussion — drum set, marching, keyboard, symphonic, world, recreational, education, music technology, new music, and health & wellness.
David took to social media to announce his participation in PASIC 2022:
“The 2022 Percussive Arts Society International Convention takes place this week where I’m proud to be presenting @ PASIC for the third time – and virtually for the first. Our virtual clinics are available for members attending the convention and those who cannot, which I think is great. I’m excited to be sharing some new ideas so I hope you will check it out and enjoy! I’m looking forward to seeing everybody in Indy in just a few days and soaking up the inspirational vibrations. Special thanks to Mark Powers & the DSC and Simonds Joshua & Alison Mitchell for all they do to make this a great event!”
About David: www.davidstanochschoolofdrumming.com
David developed an appreciation for music early on, picking up guitar at age 7 and began drumming at age 10. From that time forward he has performed constantly, playing his first professional gig at age 12 and carving out a uniquely eclectic resumé, working with a wide variety of popular artists, right up to the present day.
A dedicated student of his instrument, he has studied with its masters over the years including Elliot Fine, Marv Dahlgren, Alan Dawson, Max Roach, Ignacio Berroa, Jeff Hamilton and Chad Wackerman, among others.

As an educator he has proven to be in-demand, presenting clinics at events such as PASIC, NAMM and KoSA, residencies and lessons at several universities as well as schools of all grade levels, and winning a MODERN DRUMMER Readers Poll for Best Educational book in 2009. After a remarkable 27 year run on the faculty of the McNally Smith College of Music, David is excited to now be available to teach globally without limitations.
About David’s award-winning book “Mastering The Tables of Time”:
