ON THE COVER: Jay Weinberg inherited the talent of his father, Max Weinberg, drummer of Bruce Springsteen’s E-Street Band, whom he replaced on stage several times from the age of 18, long before he suspected that he would one day join his favorite band, Slipknot. At 32, Jay is one of the most adored drummers of his generation: his incredible technique, his showmanship and his keen sense of communication have allowed him to build up an army of faithful followers. A phenomenon that is reminiscent of the wave caused by a certain Joey Jordison twenty years earlier. The circle is complete. Jay gave us an exclusive interview.
TAYLOR HAWKINS TRIBUTE CONCERT: on September 3, all of rock’s Gotha gathered at Wembley Stadium in London to pay tribute to the @foofighters drummer who died on March 25 at the age of 50.
